An exceptional yam from the historical terroir of Huai Shan

Our Huai Shan comes from Wenxian, Henan Province—the historic birthplace of the famous "Four Medicinal Herbs of Huai."
Cultivated in the mineral-rich alluvial soils of the Yellow River, known as lütu soils, this traditional "Tiegun" yam variety is recognized in China as one of the finest qualities of Huai Shan.

These soils, rich in minerals and trace elements (selenium, zinc, calcium…), give rise to a naturally denser, more nutritious, and more concentrated yam.

This is a natural phenomenon related to:

  • or slight plant oxidation after cutting.

These marks are normal and indicate an authentic product, unbleached and not chemically treated.

Our slices:

  • are not sulfur-fumigated,
